I was unable to blog on Trevor's birthday because we were out of town so I'm just getting to it now. Trevor turned 3 years old on July 17. I cannot believe that it has already been three years this charming little guy has been in our lives. Most others can't believe that he is three either because he is pretty little for his age. I just think that when you start life at a whopping 1 pound 14 ounces, to be 23 pounds, three years later is doing fairly well. He has definitely come a long way in those three years and I couldn't imagine life without him. He is the sweetest, most affectionate child. He loves to give hugs and kisses and to make you smile. He has the cutest little giggle that can melt your heart. He does have his stubborn side but it is that determination that got him through his first months of life. I can't imagine life without him and I feel so blessed to have him as part of our family.
Trevor gave us quite a scare when he entered the world 3 months early but I feel so lucky to have been able to watch his growth and development. It sure puts the process into a different perspective when you watch your child learn how to breathe and eat on their own, things that normally develop within the womb. Through watching his stregth and determination, I developed a different bond with him than I did with my other children. I love them just as much, it's just that I see Trevor through different eyes because I know I could have lost him so easily. I thank my Heavenly Father everyday for the gift He has given to me by entrusting three of His precious children to my care. I only can hope and pray that I can teach them of His love and of their value and worth.
I am behind on my blogging due to our vacation but I will get caught up as soon as all the pictures come to me from various sources. Until then, bear with me!!
