Score!!

I just had to take a moment to boast about Jordan scoring his first soccer goal ever!! I was so proud of him. It was in the first quarter and it was the first goal scored for our team, which went on to win 3-2. After the game, Jordan came running over to me with a huge smile and exclaimed, "I scored a goal. Now we get to go out for ice cream!!!" You see, I had promised Jordan and Jocelyn during the fall season, that if either of them scored a goal, I would treat them to ice cream. So true to my word, we stopped at Dairy Queen on the way home for "twistie" ice cream cones. I should note that Jocelyn scored a goal in her second game last fall but I made the ice cream promise after that. I just wish I would have had my camera today to capture the moment. Oh well, maybe next time!!
