Last Saturday I was able to take the kids to a fire safety event at a local high school. It was a really fun family day with all kinds of interactive displays and things for everyone to do. Climbing in all of the engines, helicopters, and police cars was definitely a favorite for all three. The best part for the moms and dads, was that everything was free, even lunch and all the snacks.

Here are Jordan and Jocelyn putting out their fires. Neither of them wanted to put on the outfit. It was pretty hot that day.
The highlight of Jordan's day was getting to pull the air horn in the 18-wheeler.
While we were eating lunch, two Medivac helicopters landed. They opened their doors and allowed us to climb in and explore.
Finally, at the end of the day, my kids antics got them landed in the back of a police car! They loved every minute of it!!!
Oh my gosh! That picture of Trevor in the fireman getup is priceless! I love it! Looks like the kids had a blast. I'm so happy that I can stay in touch with your sweet family :o)
