Go-Karts and Golf

During Shayne's September visit, we decided to take the kids to Adventure Landing for some go-karts and miniature golf(putt-putt, as my husband and southern friends call it). We picked the older two up from school and headed out for some much needed fun and family bonding. Trevor was too little for the go-karts and Jordan and Jocelyn both had to ride with an adult so we took turns. They both loved pretending to drive the cars. Yes, Jordan was very disappointed that he wasn't tall enough to be the one driving but he still enjoyed the speed.

Next, we were off to play a round of mini-golf. Thank goodness that Shayne and I decided not to play or we may have been there all night. It was so cute watching the three kids try their hardest to sink a putt. Somehow, Jocelyn was able to get two hole-in-ones. Trevor was lucky to hit the ball with the club. Jordan did pretty well. We didn't keep score but I think he may have finished under par!!

The next day, while Jordan and Jocelyn were at school, Shayne and I took Trevor to the Children's Museum. They had just opened a new exhibit--Mr. Potato Head. It is really cute and Trevor had tons of fun. A cameraman from a local news channel was filming and got some footage of Trevor but I forgot to watch the news that night so I have no idea if he made the news or not.
