August marks the month of Jordan's annual eye exam. Seeing as how Jocelyn is getting ready to begin kindergarten, and now both of her brothers wear glases, I decided I would take her in for an eye exam also. I had high hopes that she wouldn't have any eye problems since, up to this point, we have had no indication that she had one. Sure enough, the doctor concluded that she, too, is hyperopic and has astigmatism. We are lucky that her prescription is not as strong as Jordan's but due to the astigmatism, the doctor felt it was best to put her in glasses as well. She actually had a great time picking out her frames and has been really good about wearing them. She also looks pretty darn cute in them. Now, I am the only member of our family who doesn't wear glasses or contacts. I feel a bit out of place!!
